How to Setup Multiple Calendars within GoogleApps

  1. Login to your GoogleApps mail account, e.g. mail.yoursite.com.au
  2. Click ‘Calendar’ in the top left
  3. The Calendar page will open
  4. Underneath the ‘My Calendars’ heading in the left menu, click ‘Add’
  5. Input the calendar details
  6. Share the calendar if you require
    1. Share this calendar with others:  Enables you to make the calendar public or share with your organisation
    2. Share with specific people: enter an email address of someone within your domain, e.g. [email protected]
    3. Edit permission settings
  7. Click ‘Create Calendar’ at the bottom
  8. You will now see the calendar in the left menu under ‘My Calendars’
  9. You can toggle viewing specific calendars by clicking on the calendar name
    1. The calendar will be coloured if it is active and visible
    2. If it is not coloured, you can turn it back on by clicking it
  10. To add an event on your new calendar, disable the default calendar by clicking it
    1. Click the day/time you want to add a new event
    2. Alternatively, you can click the arrow on the right of the calendar name and drop down to ‘Create Event on the Calendar’
  11. You can also change the colour of calendars by using the drop down arrow and chosing a colour at the bottom
  12. Note: if all calendars are active and visible, creating an event will be created within your default calendar, e.g. [email protected]
